A delicate elevator modernization and retrofit project inside a 70-year-old heritage cultural building in the heart of Mylapore.

Adding an elevator to an old building without a pre-existing shaft, while ensuring zero structural damage to the aged load-bearing walls.

Constructed an independent, self-supporting steel structure inside the courtyard to house the elevator, using vibration-dampening mounts to protect the heritage walls.

Successfully modernized the building, making it accessible to all, without compromising its structural integrity or historic charm.
